These fixtures are versatile in their installation possibilities and are suitable for either new construction or retrofit installations, as they easily install into most existing metallic octagonal and non-metallic round junction boxes. Combine with the Surface Frame Octagonal Junction Box (sold separately) to provide fire, sound, air-tight and insulated contact ratings as well as innovative features such as tool free height adjustments. Their integrated one-piece design removes driver installation issues, and their thin 0.6″ deep profile and edgeless aesthetic allow these fixtures to blend seamlessly into the ceiling with minimal visual profile.Their high CRI of 90+ means you’ll enjoy true color rendering in the area of illumination from the specialized lens that transmits clear, beautiful light with a subtle diffusion. The DRD5S4L15930 is a 17 watt, 18″ long LED surface mount light that provides 1,500 lumens of warm 30K white light and the following features:
